Carmine should always be remembered as a fantastic contributor to the EKFC and those of us that witnessed him playing in the middle part of the 80’s and early 90’s saw a truly brilliant footballer.
In his prime he was just about the best footballer in the competition, a polished performer who was hardly ever tackled , with great disposal and the ability to kick goals when needed. A premiership player & best and fairest winner, the little number 7 was never beaten and was the driving force in getting the team going from the middle.
Rest in peace Carmine, a true Cougar.

Very accurate words Gav. I played many games with Carmine and he was an inspirational player with great speed and skills on both sides. He could kick freaky goals and run all day.He always looked good on and off the field. He will be very fondly remembered by his ex team mates as a top bloke that enjoyed the good times we shared, regardless of winning or losing. My sincere condolences go out to young Anthony who I coached last year. He has so much of his dads poise and skill. Also to Dina , Mario and the whole family my thoughts are with you.
I am very sorry I could not pay my respects in person at the funeral,
It’s nice to see how much he was respected and loved by the club. He was a great player and a great man. Rest in peace cousin xx
